In the same way that sound will bounce from surface to surface, we have hypothesized that some "Hauntings" or haunting-related phenomena may simply be "Echoes" of events that are bouncing off of the fabrics of the multiple dimensions that we see and don't see every day. Trapped in an eternal loop of reoccurrence, the evidence is there for us to investigate and quantify. In some cases, the ECHO may be stronger or it may not be an ECHO and require further examination. Either way, we want to help and will be there to see you through until the situation is resolved, regardless of the outcome. |

October 22, 2008 Please forgive any typos today, as I've been at the computer TOO MUCH in the lst couple days. :-) The 2nd Gallery of photographs is now ready to view. Also, we have recorded almost 100 hits a day for the last few days. This is VERY exciting for us and hope that you all continue to return for new stuff and continue to tell your friends. I have also modified the "Contact Us" page so that you can use it just to relay messages if you like. Thank you sincerely for your support. |
October 21, 2008 After some setbacks, (also known as "trying to find the easy way"), the 1st Gallery of photographs has been completed. We also included a 10-second video, right above the pictures taken in the very same room, and strangely enough... they seem to support each other. There is an unusual anomaly behind the door in the 1st photograph, and it's gone in the second. Later on, when we shot the video, something, passes by in front of the camera. It seems to drift from the lower center of the image downwards and then disappears before it leaves the frame. Look and judge for yourself. There are also 100 other shots of various places around the facility. Webmaster is currently beginning work on the second gallery. There are still a few hundred more photos. |
October 12, 2008 We have returned from the trip that we never took. Luckily we were smart enough to not illegally trespass into the building located in Weyburn. We did, however, make contact with a team who did get into the monolith. Their accounts were so phenomenal that we felt as if we had been there ourselves. They also gave us the 600-plus pictures that they took while on-location. They have given us permission to post their pics as our own and we shall be doing so with the top "bunch". As soon as it is finished, I will upload the "Photo Gallery" related to "Souris Valley Hospital"/"Weyburn Mental Hospital" for all to see. Any/all resemblance to the E.C.H.O.E.S. team-members is strictly coincidence. It should be mentioned that the people we met, who will remain anonymous, said that it was a night they will never forget and that the only regret that they have is that they didn't go 20 years ago, so they could see the building when it was still intact, both Physically & Spiritually. I am confident that when I relay this message, (which is both genuine and heartfelt), it will be taken in the spirit in which it is intended... "To the person or persons responsible for helping us, we are, and will be eternally grateful. Someday, perhaps we can return the favour". <click picture Someone wrote a fine poem in memory of this beautiful building. This picture was taken inside the facility. No theft or plagiarism is intended. |
October 7, 2008 One of "Those Moments" has occurred for us. There is an abandoned mental hospital in southern Saskatchewan that is scheduled to be destroyed. Jeff, (Lead Investigator) & Lisa, (co-founder & lead investigator) have contacts in the company responsible for the demolition of the facility. Lisa wrote up a proposal and by some miracle, it was accepted. We have been given a true, "Opportunity of a lifetime". We have decided to investigate the Weyburn Mental Hospital. Depending on what you read about it, the reports say that the location is "Haunted, no doubt about it", "All the spirits that once lived here have moved on to their eternal rest" or "The feelings of an old building are clear, but haunted? No." I guess we'll have to see for ourselves. Since I have not been there yet, I will not waste your time with a re-hashed write-up. I will save that for our after-action report. No matter the results, we are honoured to be seeing such a gem. We are extremely excited to be going to such a well known place. Wish us luck. :-)
